If Only Days Were 48 Hours Long to Post All Cities With Snow
I get a lot of requests to add more cities but unfortunately because of how long it takes to do an update I can’t add every Big city into the lineup. I figured I would throw up this section with some of the other big cities with a population of 100,000 or more and I will update it when I have the time to.
Most of these cities have been in the contest at one time or another and dropped for the fact that they weren’t’ getting snow at the time they were dropped. I do know that several of the cities have more snow than some in the lineup right now. Again, it comes down to time. Right now with just the cities that are in the contest, it takes almost a couple of hour each update. Normally I get two updates in so that’s 4 hours. Add in doing research, answering emails and comments and it’s pretty much a full-time job during the snow season.
No, you don’t need to call me a waaam-bulance because I’m not whining about it at all. I really do enjoy keeping the site and snow stats going, but there just isn’t enough time to add every city. Anyways, below are some of the other cities that were updated on the date that it says.
There are also several other Big cities in the US that belong in the snow contest, but there just aren’t any official snow stat available for those cities.

If a few weeks go by and you don’t see an update for this section Please feel free to send me a message through the contact section. Thanks and have and Awesome Day All
Las Vegas, Nevada has got snowfall 0.8 inches.
Hey,
Just wanted to let you know I love the site, and thank you for doing all the research. I was thinking, what 3-4 people who are willing to help and who you trust were able to help out in the research and vetting of snow totals and answering questions? Then, hopefully as more cities are listed, and questions are answered, the overall questions and comments about “why is Oswego, NY not listed??” would go away.
Just a thought….
Dave
